Grady B. Stockstill, 77, of Poplarville, Mississippi, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016.
Funeral services will be at New Henleyfield Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.
Rev. Walter Pierce will officiate at the service. Burial will follow in the First Baptist Church of Henleyfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Monday at White Funeral Home, Poplarville.
Mr. Stockstill was born September 29, 1938 in Henleyfield to Joseph Stockstill and Victoria Buras Stockstill.
He was a self employed mechanic and heavy equipment operator; a member of First Baptist Church of Henleyfield; and a member of Steephollow Masonic Lodge.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Jeremy Stockstill; two brothers, Kendall Stockstill and Victor Stockstill.
Family members include his wife of 30 years, Ruth G. Stockstill; four sons, Grady Carl Stockstill (Cindy), Jeffrey Stockstill (Trina), Josh Stockstill (Margaret), Jimmy Simmons (Janice); three daughters, Christie Stockstill, Missy Lambert (Kenny), Kathy O’Neal (Tim); two brothers, Spencer Stockstill, Jerome Stockstill; seventeen grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
