Funeral services for Carl Wilson Pittman, Jr., 66, of Carriere, MS, who passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016, will be held Thursday, May 26, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Lee’s Chapel #1 Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. James Reeves will officiate the service.

A native of Picayune, MS, he was a former security guard at NASA, US Marine Corps Veteran, US Army National Guard Veteran, and a member of New Faith Baptist Church. Carl was a loving father, grandfather, and dear friend who was dearly loved by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Wilson Pittman Sr. and Minnie Lee Kendrick Pittman; son, Kelly Scott Pittman; niece, Tiffany Lang.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Shawn Eric Pittman and wife CaSondra; daughter, Kasey Danielle Penton and husband Trey; grandchildren, Haylie Penton, Kiera Pittman, Kensleigh Pittman, Emma Penton, and Donald “Chip” Penton; sister, Dyanna Lynn Lang and husband Richard, niece, Chasity Lang.
