Funeral services for Helen Bethea Jefferson, 95, of McNeill, MS, who passed away on April 19, 2016 in Gulfport, MS, will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 1:00 p.m.
Pastor Eddie C. Jones, Sr. will officate the service, assisted by the Rev. Georgia Antoine with burial in McNeill Cemetery, under the dirction of Baylous Funeral Home.
A native of Bassfield, MS, she was a housekeeper and child care provider. She was a member of the Little Zion Traveler Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by Will Bethea and Daisy McNair Bethea; one son, Luther Jones; one daughter, Earline Singleton; two sisters, Willie Mae Johnson and Lizzie Mae Cruse.
Her survivors include children, Jurline Washington, Willean Jones, Jimmy L. Graves/Hawthorne, Jerry
W. Jones, Sr., Rev. Eddie C. Jones, Sr., Aretha Carter, Roy L. Jones, Willie Jefferson and Robert Earl Jefferson.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from noon to 1:00 p.m. in Outreach Ministry Church in Picayune, MS. Another visitation will be Monday, April 25, 2016 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Baylous Funeral Home.
