Memorial Services for Gerald “Cotton” W. Cozad, age 87, of Picayune, Miss., who passed away Thursday, April  21, 2016, will be held Tuesday, April  26, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Rev. Barry Lee will officiate the service.
A native of Tarkio, Mo., he served in the United States Navy during WWII and the Korean Wars. Cotton was employed more than 40 years by General Electric Corporation. He was an avid golfer and fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Cozad and Marie Adamson Cozad; his wife of 62 years, Norma Cozad; his sister, Rose Marie Tolby; his brother, Melvin Cozad; and his niece Sharon Ray.
Left to cherish his memory are his nephews, Michael Tolby, Steve Cozad and Ryland Cozad.
