Funeral services for Myrtis Louise Dossett, age 91, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016, will be held Friday, March 11, 2016, at 12:00 p.m. at Catahoula Missionary Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Friday, March 11, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Catahoula Missionary Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Catahoula Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
A native of Catahoula, MS, she was a retired secretary. Myrtis was a loving mother, grandmother and devoted member of Catahoula Missionary Baptist Church. She was an active member in her church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, B. L. Dossett; parents, Cornelius Seal and Lucy Bounds Seal; son, Thomas Charles Dossett; sister, Vivian Lee.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Alan Keith Dossett and wife Laura, Gregory Dale Dossett and wife Rise’; granddaughters, Jennifer Ellen Mayo and husband Chester, Carley Ann Dossett; great grandchildren, Benjamin Thomas Roberts and wife Felicia, Lucy Camille Roberts; great great grandson, Aiden Lee Roberts.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Catahoula Missionary Baptist Church, 22140 Hwy 43 South, Picayune, MS 39466.
