Funeral services for Henry Hann, Jr., 76, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Friday, January 29, 2016, will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at 3:15 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 2, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Elder Glynn Erwin, Elder Randy Shaw and Elder James McCranney will officiate the service.
A native of Hancock County, MS, he was the owner of Hann Logging, a custodian at Nicholson Elementary, a
newspaper carrier at the Picayune Item, and a custodian at the Millbrook Country Club. Henry was a Christian and attended Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Hann, Sr. and Laura Wood Hann.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Bonita Mitchell Hann of 53 years; his son, James William (Melody) Hann; one grandson, James Cody (Lindsey) Hann; two great grandchildren, James Dylan Hann and Jace Henry Hann; one step-granddaughter, Shoneen Kendrick; two step-great grandchildren, Tyler and Haley; his nephews, Mike (Tracie) Mitchell and Randy (Ronda) Mitchell; and his niece, Stephanie Mitchell (Marty) Edge.
