Funeral services for Wallace “Wally” Wilke, age 87 of  Picayune, MS, who passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015, will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Picayune.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Rev. Ryan Wade will officiate the service.
A native of Blue Earth, MN, he was an engineer and a member of First Baptist Church of Picayune.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Wilke and Bernice Anderson Wilke; and his brother, Harold Wilke.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Georgia Sims Wilke; his children, Pamela (Samuel) Murphy, Jerry (Mary Ellen) Wilke, and Patty (Ricky) Reed, 7 grandchildren, Shawn (Gina) Murphy, Chris Murphy, Nicole Murphy, Jason Wilke, Rebecca (Kelly) Wilke, Tiffany (Lee) Dillard, and Josh Reed; 5 great grandchildren; his brother, Bruce (Sandy) Wilke; and his sisters, Sondra Flood, and Shirley DeMarchi.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Picayune Keenagers, P.O. Box 477, Picayune, MS 39466.
