Funeral services for Purvis L. Ikner, age 74, of  Clarksdale, MS, who passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015, will be held Thursday, December 24, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 23, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Bro. Carl Heberg will officiate the service.
A native of Mobile, AL, he was a truck driver and a member of the Baptist Faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel J. Ikner and Margaret Watson Ikner; grandsons, Purvis Ikner Faye and Windle Darryl Morgan Jr.; brother, W. J.  Ikner.
Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife of 56 loving years, Lola E. Ikner; daughters, Pamela Faye and husband Steve, Teresa Sapp and husband Tonka,  Margaret Morgan and husband Gary, Bettie Jo Morgan and husband Windle; grandchildren, Steve Faye Jr. and wife Cheyenne, Sarah Faye, Joseph Faye and wife Sarah,, Leo Jones Jr., Elizabeth Richardson and husband Mark, Timothy Wayne Jones and wife Liz, Patrick Jones, Hope Truelove and husband Bobby, Racheal Brown, Lola Brown, Crystal Brown and Chad, Melissa Morgan, David Allen Morgan, Matthew Morgan, and Alissa Morgan; 28 great grandchildren; brother, Samuel Jacob Ikner, Jr.; sisters, Irene McCaghren and husband Carl, Bertha Marie Autry and husband Tommy, Mary Gunn, Renee Foster and husband Danny Ray.
