Funeral services for Judith Elisabeth Gieseking, age 90 of Picayune, MS, who passed away Monday, November 30, 2015, will be held Thursday, December 3, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at New Palestine Baptist Church, 2336 Palestine Road, Picayune, MS.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 3, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at New Palestine Baptist Church.
Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Rev. Josh Braddy will officiate the service.
A native of Witten, Germany, she was a teacher in Germany for 40 years and a member of New Palestine Baptist Church. Judith’s passion for her life was following her Lord and Savior and spreading the Word of Christ through Missions.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernst Pauleit and Olga Kohring Pauleit; and her husband, Wilhelm R. Gieseking.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Ursula (Marcus) Jarrett; her granddaughter, Stephanie (Chris) Ellis; and her brother, Hans (Inge) Pauleit.
