Joyce Leone Hebert, 84, of Biloxi, passed away Monday, December 7, 2015 at the Greenbriar Nursing Center in D’Iberville.
Mrs. Hebert graduated from L.H. Marrero High School in 1948. She formerly volunteered at Pearl River Nursing Home where she was known as “Mrs. Happy,” and she was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Biloxi.
She loved people, never meeting a stranger, and she loved life. She will be missed.
Mrs. Hebert was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Noelie Leone. Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Henry L. Hebert; her daughter, Debra Kelley (Warner); her son, Alan Hebert (Mary Beth Martin); her siblings, Betty Jane Timmreck and Anthony “Chopper” Leone (Judy); her 5 grandchildren, Denisha Hodge (Eric), Richie Hebert (Dana), Gene Kelley (Lisa), Timothy Kelley (Laura) and Jennifer Williams; and her 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 10th from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Road in Biloxi. Burial will follow at Southern Memorial Park in Biloxi.
