Graveside services for Jennie Lynn Morrison, 58, of Arlington, Texas, formally of Picayune, who passed away December 7, 2015 will be held Monday, December 14, 2015 at Carriere Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Reverend Brian K. Dees will officiate at the service.
Jennie Lynn Lombard Morrison was born May 12, 1957 to the late James B. Lombard, Sr. and Marion Fontenette Lombard in New Orleans, Louisiana. She attended All Saints Catholic Church and school and later attended Xavier University Prep where she graduated in 1975. From there she joined the Air Force and later joined the Air National Guard, where she received an honorable discharge.
Jennie was a devoted member of BibleWay Community Baptist Church and dutifully served.
Jennie Lynn Lombard Morrison peacefully slept away on Monday, December 7, 2015 in her home in Arlington, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; her older brother, James B. Lombard, Jr.
She leaves cherished memories to: her devoted and loving husband, Timothy Morrison; two daughters whom she adored, Kelly (DeWayne) Robinson and Jamelle Clark; five step-kids, Roger, Jr., Keiyawna, Ryan, Jeramy, and Akeem; four grandsons, JeBarr, Jordan, Aristide, and Jeremiah; one great-grandson, Josiah; three sisters, Annette (Ronald) Smith, Barbara Robinson, and Ramona (Ronald) Ragas; one brother, Ralph (Sharon) Lombard; three sisters-in-law, Peggy Lombard, Pamela (Tab) Plummer, and Missy (Steve) Ellis; one brother-in-law, Don (Nadine) McDougle; two aunts, one uncle, eight nephews, five nieces, twelve great nephews, eight great-nieces, three great-great-nieces, one great great-nephews, several God-children, and a great host of other relatives and friends.
Interment in New Hebron/Carriere Cemetery with military honors. Entrusted to Brown’s Funeral Home.
