Graveside funeral services for Floyd Eugene Croney, age 83, of Nicholson, MS, who passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015, will be held Friday, December 11, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Turtleskin Cemetery.
Burial will be in Turtleskin Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Bro. Scott Downes will officiate the service.
A native of Bassett, AR, he was the owner and operator of Floyd Croney’s Auto Repair located in Nicholson, MS. Floyd was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur Neeley Croney and Delia Yancey Croney; son, Steve F. Croney; daughter in law, Anne Croney; brothers, Will, Ralph, and Calvin Croney; brother in law, Sam Landry.
Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife of 64 loving years, Ruby Hyatt Croney; sons, Dorman Croney and wife Laura, Timothy Croney; five grandchildren, Kacey Croney, Michael Croney and wife JoAnna, Brandi Croney, Daniel Croney and wife Krista, and Heidi Croney Kennedy; thirteen great grandchildren, Kaitlin, Jayme, Jace, Garrett, Kaden, Julian, Preston, Sebastian, Caleb, Victoria, Avery, Henry, and Patty Anne; sister, Wilma Sue Croney Landry; daughter in law, Debbie Songy; very special person in his life, Randall “Dale” Davis; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
