Service will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. in New Bethel Full Gospel in the Leetown Community  for Mr. Charles “Mickey” Mixon known as (The Mississippi Flash), age 79, of Leetown. Mr. Mixon died Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at his home.
Brother Russell Mixon will officiate the service. Mr. Mixon will be cremated at a later date. Mickey was a native of Crowville, LA and was retired from Tops.
Survivors include three daughters, Vicky Walker of England, Kimberly Boyd and Cindy Reams both from Leetown; three  sons Mark Mixon of Leetown, Charles Mixon Jr. and Jason Mixon both from Gulfport, MS; seven grandchildren, Angel, Kenny, Misty, Dilley, Lisa, Jessie, and Megan; ten great grandchildren, Morgan, Domanick, Tatum, Carter, Tyler, Riley, Milena, Jasmine, Keola, Kason; three brothers, Russell, Robert, John L.;  and one sister, Teressa.
Mr. Mixon was preceded in death  his wife, Anita Mixon; one son, Michael; one daughter, Michelle; parents, R.C. Mixon, Sr. and Edith Leggett Rovia; and two sisters, June and Judy.
Baylous Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
