Services for Beverly Elaine Acker, 57, of Pearlington, will be held Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope  Baptist Church where Rev. Robert Preston is Pastor and officiating.
Beverly Elaine Acker was born on February 7, 1958 in Gainsville, MS  to Mary C. Acker and the late Floyd W. Acker.
She accepted Christ at a young age.  She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.  She attended school in Gainsville, MS and later moved to Pearlington, MS with her family. She worked for many years at Slidell Guest House. Beverly loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed country music and family gatherings.
Beverly transitioned to her heavenly home on Saturday, November 29, 2015 at Oschner Hospital in Slidell, Louisiana.  She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Acker; one granddaughter, Jada Crapps; three brothers, Floyd W. Acker, Jr., Emmett Robert, and Mack Douglas Acker, one neice, Lisa Bradson and two nephews, Willie and Shannon Acker.
She leaves to cherish her love and memories, (six beautiful children, who adored her), two daughters, Chiquita (Doran) Acker, of Pearlington, and Janainita (Brian) Mitchell; four sons, Leo (Lora) Acker, of Sawase, MA, Adolph Jermaine, of Slidell, LA, Antonyio (Cassie) Acker, of
Branson, MO, and Cornelius (Jennifer) Acker; her loving and devoted
mother, Mary C. Acker, two
brothers, Frank Acker and Jeffery Acker, both of Pearlington, MS; seven sisters, Marvie (Anthony) Bennington, of New Orleans, LA, June (Eric Sr.) Jarvis, Evelyn (Jesse) Murray, Adell (James) Peters, all of Pearlington, MS,  Annell (Bernard) Murray, Cynthia Acker, of Bay St. Louis, MS, Josephine (Dave) Acker, of Pearlington, MS; a very special friend, Milton Jackson, of Pearlington, MS;
fourteen grandchildren, (DaShun, Derriana, Tylan, Kiden, Devon, Tatum, Braleigh, Taelynn, Carmen, Cornelius, Canden, Brooklynn, Da’Kia, and Diamond); and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church.  Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery. Entrusted to Brown’s Funeral Home.
