Emma “Two Bits” Lewis

Funeral services will be held Sat. November 14, 2015 at noon in Rose of Sharon Church of God in Christ for Mrs. Emma Lewis, 88, of Picayune, MS who died November 9, 2015 in Picayune, MS. The Rev. Donald Hart will officiate at the service. Burial will be in the Picayune Cemetery under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home. A native of Alexandria, LA she was a caregiver and a deaconess. She attended Newness of Life Ministries.
Preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Lewis, parents, Matt Simmons and Amy Reed; and brothers, JD Simmons, and Ivory Hurts.
Survivors include: five daughters, Frances (Earnest) Riggins, Alexandria, LA, Lucinda Williams, Lois (Hubert) Decuir, and Joyce Richards, all of Picayune, MS, and Mandy (Booker T.) Booze, Alexandria, LA; four sisters, Daisy Mae Campbell, and Ruth Green, both of Bunkie, LA, Dorothy Johnson and Tressie Keys, both of Chenyville, LA; two brothers, David Reed, Bunkie, LA and Seymore Reed, Alexandria, LA; eleven grandchildren, Reggie (Keyshia) Smith, Precious Newman, Lashonda (Nathan) Middleton, and Brittany Richards, all of Picayune, MS, Ethel Lakeia Riggins, Kevin Riggins, and Eric Riggins, all of Alexandria, LA, Joseph Decuir and Brandon Decuir, both of Dallas, Tx, Kayla (Devin) Green, Atlanta, Ga, and Aneshua (Edward) Ezeb of New Orleans, LA; and a host of great grand children and great great grand children.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – noon.
