According to Picayune Police Department Assistant Chief Jeremy Magri, Lisa Jenkins, 40, of 265 Oscar Smith Road, allegedly failed to notice a Toyota Tundra had stopped in the off ramp, and, at about 9:48 a.m., her Suburban slammed into a trailer the Tundra was towing.

The trailer was carrying lawn equipment and is owned by a lawn car service.

“The two passengers in the Chevrolet Suburban were transported to the hospital with injuries,” said Magri. He added he didn’t know the extent of the injuries.

Magri said Jenkins was issued citations for driving while her license is suspended and no proof of insurance.
