Funeral service will be held Sat. October 24, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in Pleasant Valley Baptist Church for Miss. Rosa Breland Brown, 71, of Picayune, MS who died October 21, 2015 in Highland Community Hospital. The Rev. Donald Parker will officiate at the service. Burial will be in the Picayune Cemetery under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.
A native of Picayune, MS, she was retired from Starc. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church where she served as a member of Galeadas, Star Light Band, Choir, and Mission #2.
Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Brown of Picayune, MS; a grandson, Carlos Brown of Oklahoma, City Oklahoma; and a granddaughter, Chartea Brown of Picayune, MS.
Preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Elizabeth Breland; and her sister, Vondell Jones.
Visitation will be Sat. Oct. 24, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.
