Services for Larenzo Lamont Parker, 43, of Picayune, will be held Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at
Rose Of Sharon COGIC. Reverend Thomas Haralson is Eulogist assisted by Rev. Brian K. Dees. Elder David Simmons is Pastor.
Larenzo Lamont Parker was born on April 27, 1972 in Picayune, MS to the union of Reverend Donald L. Parker and Hattie (Polly) M. Parker.
At an early age Lamont united with New East Jerusalem Baptist Church and was baptized under the leadership of the late Reverend Dr. Alonzo Dees. He served in many capacities of the
church, serving as a member of both the Brotherhood and the Men’s Choir under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Brian K. Dees. Lamont graduated from Picayune Memorial High School in 1990, where he played football. He graduated in HVAC in 1996 in Atlanta, GA. He then became an entrepreneur of DTM Services and was also employed at Jacob’s Services at Stennis Space Center, MS as a HVAC technician.
Lamont was united in holy matrimony to Andrea Nicole Harper, to this union two beautiful children were born.
Larenzo Lamont Parker transitioned to his heavenly home on October 1, 2015. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mr. Harrison & Mrs. Florence Parker; his maternal grandfather, Tommie Haralson; and one loving uncle, Eugene Parker.
He leaves to cherish his love and memories, his devoted and loving wife of sixteen years, Andrea Parker, two daughters, Akeyia Tyner and Lauryn Parker; one son, Larenzo Lamont Parker II; three grandchildren, Brandon and Braidon Nixon and Brooklyn Stubbs; his parents, Reverend Donald L. Parker & Hattie (Polly) M. Parker; his maternal grandmother Georgia M. Haralson; one sister, Sylvia (Glen) Parker Wilson; one God-sister, Akesha (Joshua) Carter; two nephews, Kwamane T. Wilson and Willie D. Davis III; one niece, Kawaideidra Z. Wilson, one great nephew, Kian D. Wilson, two God-children, Maurisha Lull and Adrianna Zeno; His loving in-laws, Oscar & Janice Stevens and Johnny & Joyce Harper; three sisters-in-law Sonia Harper, of Laurel, MS, Monica (Kevin) McLaurin, of Marietta, GA, and IKeyonia Harper, of Laurel, MS; one special and devoted Aunt, Georgia Haralson Stuart; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church. Interment will be in Picayune Cemetery. Entrusted to Brown’s Funeral Home.
