Funeral service for Mr. Johnny Moses Littles, 74 will be held Friday, October 16, 2015 at New Hebron Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Pastor K. Martin Thomas will officiate at the services.

Johnny Moses Littles was born to the late Jessie Mae Little Anderson and Roosevelt Little on February 20, 1941 in Picayune, MS. 

He was a graduate of George Washington Carver High School, Class of 1962. After graduation he moved to Detroit, MI and was employed with Chrysler Automotive Division for 30 years.  Upon retirement, Johnny moved back to Carriere and joined New Hebron Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. A. D. Jackson.

He was married to Betty Pittman Littles and to this union three children were born.  He later married Josephine Sumpter Littles and to this union two children were born, and also reared two daughters of Josephine Littles.  Later he married his current wife Jannie West Littles.

He peacefully departed his earthly residence on Saturday morning, October 10, 2015 at Oschner Medical Center in Slidell, LA embraced by his loving family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Plez Little, and one nephew, Robbie Little.

Johnny leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife, Jannie West Littles, seven children, Valerie (Kevin) Denard, Veda Littles, Johnny Littles Jr., Jessie Littles, Charisma McBurrows , Kwana McBurrows all of Detroit, MI and Robertah Littles of Picayune, MS; two brothers, Freddie Little of Houston, TX and James Little of Las Vegas, NV; three sisters, Mary Louise (Bobbie) Peters of Odenton, MD, Yolanda (Lee) Smith of Jackson, MS and Gina Anderson of Picayune, MS; 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends; a special cousin Mrs. Bertha Malone of Glenwood, IL and a devoted mother in law, Mrs. Bertha Moore and brother in law, Mr. John C. Moore.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.

Interment will be in the New Hebron Church Cemetery in Carriere, MS.
