On Sept. 12, deputies responded to a call about a burglary at 9 a.m. at a camper trailer located on Ben Sones Road in Poplarville, Chief Deputy Shane Tucker said.

Based on surveillance footage provided by the victim, investigators with the department were able to identify the two suspects, 36-year-old Wallace O. Stogner of 75 Sid Juan Smith Road in Poplarville and 43-year-old Timothy J. McCoy, address unknown, Tucker said.

The items stolen from inside the trailer include four car batteries, a Stihl chainsaw and ground blind. The suspects also stole four-wheeler aluminum ramps, which were placed near the camper. The trailer was unlocked during the time of the burglary, Tucker said.

McCoy and Stogner are wanted by the Mississippi Department of Corrections for separate warrants and by the sheriff’s department for questioning relating to the burglary.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of these suspects is asked to call the department at 601-795-2241.
