“We lost two games at the end,” Cain said. “We went to overtime to get this win. We’re glad to finally get the monkey off our backs. The kids deserved it and we’re grateful.”

PRC quarterback Wyatt Davis scored on a one-yard run in the second quarter, tying the game at 7-7 at halftime.

PRC (2-1) scored the tying touchdown with 56 seconds left, as Davis hit Cade Lee on a 57-yard TD play, but the Blue Devils missed the go-ahead extra point attempt.

Moore scored in overtime, followed by Walter Carter’s two-point conversion run.

Harrison Central’s defense stopped PRC on fourth-and-goal at the Red Rebels’ four-yard line to preserve the win, knocking down Davis’ pass.
