Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at New Evening Star Baptist Church, 4302 Illinois Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39501 for Mrs. Lovie Mae McNair, 83 who made her heavenly journey on Friday, August 28, 2015 in Covenant Health and Rehab embraced by her loving family. Elder Bernard Harper will officiate at the services.
Mrs. Lovie Mae was born July 16, 1932 to the late Blotney and Etta MaGee in Bassfield, MS.  She is the spouse of the late Mr. Johnny McNair, sister of Mrs. ELizabeth Harper of Bassfield, MS and the aunt of Mrs. Audrine (Harry) Loftin of Picayune, MS Etta Thompson, Melissa Brown, Cammie Reese, Ricadus Harper and Elder Bernard Harper.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church.
Interment will be in the Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Avenue, Biloxi, MS 39535 at 1:30 p.m.
