Memorial services for Gillian Jerrilyn Benjamin, age 58, of Carriere, MS who passed away September 7, 2015 will be held Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home. Light refreshments, provided by the family, will be served during the visitation for those attending the service.
Services are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Father John Noone will officiate the service.
A native of West Indies, Grenada, she was an accountant in the US Navy and held the rank of Petty Office First Class upon retirement.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Benjamin.
Survivors include her mother, Neutrice A. Benjamin; brothers and sisters, Stephen Benjamin and wife Annie, Winnie Benjamin and husband Michael Diah, Don Benjamin, Wilfred Benjamin, Holly Pearman and husband Douglas; nieces, Cienna and Hannah; nephews, Adrian and Brandon; aunts, Shirley Phillips, Barbara Varas, Elsa Lord; uncle, Kenrick Lewis; and numerous cousins.
