Funeral services will be held Sat. Aug. 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Pilgrim Bound Baptist Church for Mr. Rossvelt Jefferson Jr. of Picayune, MS who died Sun. Aug. 15, 2015 in Picayune, MS. The Rev. Brian Dees will officiate at the service. Burial will be in the Picayune Cemetery under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.
A native of Picayune, MS, Rossvelt was a cabin maker and assistant laborer. He was a member of Pilgrim Bound Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by parents: Mr. and Mrs. Rossvelt and Lula Mae Jefferson, and 1 sister: Sarah Lee.
Survivors include 2 sisters: Patricia Faye Jefferson Williams, and Sharon Bethene Peters of Picayune, MS; 3 nephews: Herbert Lee, Pascagoula, MS, Stanley Lee and Corei Peters of Picayune, MS; 2 nieces: Shanda Williams, Picayune, MS; Romona Oliver, Kentucky. A host of great nieces, great nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Sat. Aug. 22, 2015 from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. in Pilgrim Bound Baptist Church, Picayune, MS.
