Louise “Grannymom” Chavers, 85, long time resident of McNeill, MS, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015 in Slidell Memorial Hospital, Slidell, LA.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Chavers; her parents, Velma Denny Langley and Clyde Edward Langley; a great granddaughter, Briana Alane DeKemel; three brothers, C.D. Langley, Clifford Karl Langley (Norma), and Edward Storm Langley; and one sister, Geneive Langley Sullivan (Jack).
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Chavers Stockstill (Benny); a son, Alan Chavers (Lisa); four granddaughters, Melissa Stockstill DeKemel (Billy) of Slidell, LA, Brenda Stockstill of McNeill, MS, Rebekah Chavers Light (Josh) of Orlando, FL, and Sarah Bethany Chavers of Orlando, FL; two grandsons, Jeff Stockstill of McNeill, MS and Cody Chavers of Orlando, FL; three great granddaughters, Meagan DeKemel of Slidell, LA, Channing Light of Orlando, FL and Caroline Light of Orlando, FL; two great grandsons, Ray Stockstill of McNeill, MS and Brady Stockstill of McNeill, MS; and a sister, Gevena Langley Denham of Fowler, CA.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
