Eugenia Faye “Dinky” Spiers Taylor, 84, of Carriere, Mississippi, died Tuesday, August 4, 2015.

Services will be at BURGETOWN CHURCH OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 11:00 am. Burial will be in McNeill Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Thursday at the church.

Mrs. Taylor was born August 10, 1930 in Snow Hill, Arkansas to Joseph Wiley Spiers and Lillian Irene King Spiers. She moved with her family at an early age to Pearl River County, Mississippi where she was a lifelong resident. She was retired from Pick ‘N Pay Shoes in Picayune. She was a member of Burgetown Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Wilson Taylor; and four siblings, J.W. Spiers, L.D. Spiers, Thelma Foster, and Mary Stickell.

Family members include two siblings, Oakley “Buddy” Spiers, Vera Stevens; a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
