On Aug. 13, the Item, based on information from law enforcement, reported that Wayne C. Torres was arrested for terroristic threats after he allegedly made a threatening call to WDAM. In fact, he was arrested for probation violations and sheriff’s deputies are still investigating who called WDAM.
