Funeral Services for Shane Smith, age 16 of  Carriere, MS, who passed away Friday, July 24, 2015, will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at 11:00 am at Christian Life Assembly of God.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm at Christian Life Assembly of God.
Burial will be in First Baptist Church of Carriere Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Pastor Darrell W. Worley will officiate the service.
A native of Petal, MS, he was a Student at PRC High School. Shane was an outstanding athlete for the PRC High School Football Team #15. He was an Honor Roll Student and made the Principal’s List. Shane was the greatest son, brother, uncle, grandchild, great grandchild, cousin, and friend anyone could ever ask for. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Left to cherish his memory are his father, Shannon Lavon Smith, Sr.; his mother, Amanda Boleware (Tony) Atwood; his sister, Shanna Smith (Wyatt) Atwood; his step sisters, Tia (Nathan) Holybee and Casey Allsights; his girlfriend, Kacey Holifield; his grandparents, Lavon and Faye Smith, Debra Livingston, Deborah and Jimmy Phillips; his great grandparents, Jr. and Loyene Patterson, Bonnie Jean Cochran; his nephew, Chason Lavon Atwood; his aunts and uncles, Rhonda (Chuck) Murphy, Kimberly Smith (Adam) Rachford, Sheila Patterson, Stephanie Dykes, and Shelene Kitchens; his God parents, Jason and Amanda Long; and multiple cousins and friends.
