Funeral Services for Rodney Tate, age 60 of Picayune, MS, who passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015, will be held Friday, July 10, 2015, at 10:00 am at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and also Friday, July 10, 2015 from 9:00 am until 10:00am at McDonald Funeral Home.
Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
A native of Picayune, MS, he was a Shop Supervisor for Nexcom at Stennis Space Center and a member of the Baptist faith. Rodney was a loving husband, brother, uncle, and friend who will be truly missed by all who loved and knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.R. Tate and Peggy Smith Tate Johnson; his son, Rodney Nathan Tate; and his brother, James Ronald Tate.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 37 years, Theresa Singletary Tate; his brother, Charles Nathan Tate; his nephew, J.T. Tate; and his nieces, Kayla and Ciera Tate.
