Funeral Services for Lynda M. Boutwell, age 70 of Carriere, MS, who passed away Friday, July 10, 2015, will be held Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at 11:00 am at West Union Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Monday, July 13, 2015 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home, and also Tuesday, July 14, 2015 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at West Union Baptist Church.

Burial will be in West Union Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. Bud Putnam and Bro. Leo Burge will officiate the service.

A native of Picayune, MS, she was a retired Home Health Aide. Lynda was a member of West Union Baptist Church, and the Carriere Eastern Star. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, T. J. and Pauline McGehee McCormick; and her son-in-law, James “Jimmy” Nitcher.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 50 years, Bruce S. Boutwell, Sr; her children, Stephanie (Tony) Munizza, Buddy (Jalove) Boutwell, and Lesley (Kenny) Polk; 9 grandchildren, Eden and Caden Nitcher, Danny (Tracy) Munizza, Ashley (Drew) Welborn, Cody (Amber) Boutwell, Allison and Bruce Boutwell, and Raymond and Garrett Polk; 4 great grandchildren, Ryliegh and Bently Welborn, Abel Boutwell, and Madalynn Munizza; her brothers, Howell (Georgia) McCormick, Henry (Naomi) McCormick, and James (Patty) McCormick; several nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Taco.
