Funeral Services for Gloria Faye Rice, age 67, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015, will be held Monday, July 20, 2015, at 12:00 pmat McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be Monday, July 20, 2015 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Unity Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Dr. Kent Megehee will officiate the service.
A native of Poplarville, MS, she was a Homemaker and a member of Unity Baptist Church. Faye was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister who was dearly loved and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. She loved spending time with her family, going to church, and gardening. She was a beautiful person who loved the Lord and was always smiling.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Martin Rice; her parents, Thomas R. Slade and Ira Lee Wheat Bass.
Survivors include her sons, Beau James Harris, Michael Wayne Mitchell and wife Michelle; 5 grandchildren; sister, Patricia Kay Deshotel and husband Steve.
