Delton “Duke” Ray Boyd, age 71, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2015.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 3, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 4, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Jackson, Bro. Bobby Boyd, and Bro. Ray Bowling officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Boyd was a Veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard, resident of Picayune for 31 years, and was in oil field construction industry. He was loved by everyone who knew him.

He is survived by three sons, Bo Stinson and Marie Stinson of Littlefield, Texas, Gerald (Leslie) Malbrough of Colton, Oregon, and Jason Boyd and Faith McCorkle of Central, Louisiana; one daughter, Angel (Joe) Bennett of Carriere; two brothers, Bobby (Sue) Boyd of Marietta, Georgia, and Tim Boyd and Debbie Boyd of Jackson, Mississippi; three sisters, Mary Alice (Jerry) Kitchens of Seminary, Mississippi, Jessie Easley and Buddy Boren of Zachary, Louisiana, and Anita (Donnie) Comeaux of Brandon, Mississippi; fourteen grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; numerous foster grand and great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and life companion, Ms. Bobbie Shute.

He is preceded in death by his parents J.C. and Geree Boyd; wife, Jeanette Boyd; one son, James Boyd; daughter-in-law, Leslee Stinson; two brothers, Billy Boyd, and Paul Boyd.
