Funeral Services for Aubrey E. Sanders Sr., age 99 of Picayune, MS, who passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015, will be held Thursday, July 23, 2015, at2:30 pm at First United Methodist Church of Picayune.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 23, 2015 from 12:30 pm until 2:30 pm at First United Methodist Church of Picayune.
Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Rev. Harold Manning will officiate the service.
A native of Heidelberg, MS, he was owner of A.E. Sanders Plumbing and Electric Supply for over 30 years. Aubrey was a member of First United Methodist Church of Picayune, and was a member of the Lions Club of Picayune.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester A. Sanders and Sadie Satcher Sanders; his sister, Iris Johnson; his brothers, James P. Sanders and Rudolph Sanders; and his granddaughter, Debra Sue Beverley.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Helen Ferguson Sanders; his children, Merle (James) Beverley, and Aubrey (Jacque) Sanders, Jr.; 5 grandchildren, Angela Lynn (Rod) Willes, Aubrey Layne Sanders, Michael Lynn (Tracey) Sanders, Britton Lance Sanders, and Jason Lee Sanders; 8 great grandchildren; and his sisters, Eris Bounds, and Mary Sue (James) Mitchell.
