Funeral services for Voncelle McQueen, age 77 of  Carriere, MS, who passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015 will be held Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Roseland Park Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Roseland Park Baptist Church.

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Dr. David Brown will officiate the service, assisted by Rev. Brad Replogle.

A native of Picayune, MS, she was a homemaker. Voncelle was a member of Roseland Park Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Belton and Nellie Watts; her sister, Clara Marie Hill; and her brother, Buddy Watts.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 57 years, J.L. McQueen; her children, Greg (Shelly) McQueen, and Barbara (Mark) Schommer; her grandchildren, Jonathan and Justin (Ashley) McQueen, and Daniel (Caitlyn) Schommer, and Amanda Schommer; her great grandchildren, Caroline and Cole Schommer; her sister in law, Gail Watts; her brother -in-law, Webb Hill, and numerous nieces and nephews.
