Memorial Services for Loreen Dennis Solis, age 84, of Slidell, LA, who passed away Monday, June 1, 2015, will be held Saturday, June 27, 2015, at 2:00 pmat McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 27, 2015 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.
A native of Louisville, KY, she was a Homemaker and a member of College Heights Missionary Baptist Church, Poplarville, MS. Loreen was a self-made artist who could cook and create something of beauty out of anything she touched.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Howard Solis Jr.; parents, Dillard Dennis and Ona Logsdon Dennis McMurphy; sister, Coreen Dennis Beaucoudray; brothers, Russell Dennis and Alvin Dennis.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Solis Toncrey and husband Albert “Jay”; son, William H. “Bill” Solis III; grandson, Albert “Jason” Toncrey III and wife Lori; granddaughter, Jayme Toncrey Anderson and husband Jeffrey; great grandchildren, Haydn, Ansley, Ian, Lynn, Jacob, and Emma; brother, Joseph “Leon” Dennis and wife Louella; brother in law, Raymond A. Beaucoudray.
