James Hugh Silvey, age 66 of Carriere, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015 at his residence.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Picayune Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

Mr. Silvey attended Resurrection Life Worship Center and was a retired Auto Body Technician at Todd’s Collison.  James loved going on vacation to the Great Smokey Mountains in Tennessee and on Cruises.  He spent a lot of time with his dogs, Beau and Sissy. He will be missed by his family.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki Silvey of Carriere; three daughters, Tina (Tony) Hickman of Picayune, Teresa Bean of Sanford, Mississippi, and Kristen (Greg) Sanders of Carriere; and grandchildren, Kyle Hickman, Ashley Hickman, Anthony Hickman, Kelcey Bennett, Carmen Neff, Xander Neff and Alex Bean.
