Francis Joseph Basil Gaupp passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2015 in Mandeville, LA. He was born on March 19, 1931 in New Orleans, LA to the late Francis Xavier Gaupp and Beatrice Kernion Gaupp.
Frank was the beloved husband of Julia Many Gaupp. He was the loving father of Fred Gaupp (Catherine), Gretchen Mercer (Gary), John Gaupp (Laura), and Rebecca Marcev (Bruce). He was the step-father of Leigh Lenoir (Chad) and Caroline Turcotte (Jeremy). Frank was the proud grandfather of Courtney Grant, Amanda LaGroue, Elizabeth Volpi, Victoria Volpi, Andrew Gaupp, Gunter Gaupp, Miranda Gaupp, and Lance Gaupp
He was the step-grandfather of Conner Carroll, Logan Carroll, Marley Turcotte, and Ella Turcotte. Frank was the great-grandfather of Olivia Grant. He was the brother of Beatrice Mestayer (Henry) and brother-in-law of Jim Many, Janet McManus (Robert), and Jane Levesque (John).
Relatives and friends of the family were invited to attend the Funeral Service on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 5303 Diamondhead Circle, Diamondhead, MS 39525, at 2 p.m. with visitation from 1 p.m. until service time.
