Charles Phillip Carpenter, Sr., age 50, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Monday, May 25, 2015.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 5, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at New Palestine Baptist Church. Burial will be at New Palestine Cemetery.

Mr. Carpenter was a lifetime resident of Picayune, worked in the construction industry, and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his father, Charles Truman Carpenter of Picayune; son, Charles Phillip Carpenter, II of Picayune; sisters, Regina Zinzer of Virginia, Danielle Lyle of Picayune, and Melissa Jarrell of Picayune.

He is proceeded in death by his mother Glenda Jean Carpenter.
