Funeral services for Virginia C. Varnado, age 87, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015, will be held Thursday, May 28, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 28, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Benville Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Bro. Randy Carlan will officiate the service.
A native of Clara, MS, she was a waitress and a member of New Life Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paulee Mills and Willie Douglas Mills; son, Perry Eugene Watkins; brothers, Raymond Mills, Alfred Mills, Warren Mills; sisters, Irene West, and Wilda Work.
Survivors include her husband, Charles W. Varnado; sons, Alan Joe Watkins, Richard Nelson Watkins; step daughters, Paula Renee Morrell, Hilda Diane Craft; grandchildren, Matthew Watkins, Gina Watkins, Tammy Watkins, James Alan Watkins, Debbie Watkins; sister, Yvonne Lee.
