Graveside services for Vernice Davis, age 93, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015 will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at New Palestine Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday, May 11, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Picayune, MS, she was a cashier in the retail sales industry and a member of New Palestine Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie  Davis and Alma Stockstill; sister, Julia Kelly; niece, Basheba Mullins.

Survivors include her sisters, Juanita Burge and Hilda  Miller; nieces and nephews, Doug Burge, Jeff Mullins, Jennifer House, David Miller, Paula Daniels, Judith McCormick, Jan Denton, and Jerri Kelly.
