Funeral services for Robert L. Roche Sr., age 72 of  Carriere, MS, who passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015, will be held Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at West Union Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at West Union Baptist Church.

Burial will be in West Union Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Rev. Bud Putnam will officiate the service.

A native of Carriere, MS, he was a handyman and a member of West Union Baptist Church. Robert was a member of the Army National Guard. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis Roche and Mattie Lee Pigott Roche Davis; brother, Anthony Roche. Survivors include his loving wife over 50 wonderful years, Jerry Elaine Roche; daughter, Cynthia Lawana “Cindy” Skipper and husband Milton; son, Robert L. Roche Jr. and wife Dawn; grandchildren, Cassidy Skipper, Landon Skipper and wife Hailey, Jerrica Skipper, Millie Skipper, Dalton Roche, Jordan Roche, and Zach Roche; great granddaughter, Adalie Skipper; brothers, Stephen Roche and wife Jane, Ben Roche and wife Connie; sisters, Karen Burge, Kathy Buchanan and husband Keith; sister in law, Barbara Roche.
