Lester Ladner, 83, of Poplarville, MS, died Wednesday, May 27, 2015 in Memorial Hospital, Gulfport.
Services will be at White Funeral Home, 315 Hwy. 11 S., Poplarville, MS, 39470 on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Hester Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m until 1:00 p.m, Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Ladner was born December 31, 1931 in Poplarville to Lawrence and Cornelia Dedeaux Ladner. He was a retired dairy farmer; a member of World Wide Church of God in Decatur, Mississippi; and retired from the Stone County Road Department in 2014.
Family members include three daughters, Elsie (Scott) Davis of Poplarville, Odessa (Wes) McClure of Thomasville, AL, Ruby Ladner of Poplarville; two siblings, Herschel Ladner, Jane Ann Odom, both of Poplarville; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Elsie Marie Bond Ladner; his son, Matthew Ladner; his second wife, Evelyn Ladner; and one granddaughter, Lila Michelle McClure.
