Giovanni.

Giovanni.

William A. (T-Boy) Giovanni, Jr. of Lumberton, Miss. died February 16, 2015.  He was born August 16, 1949 in Lake Charles, La. and was the son of William A. Giovanni, Sr. and Lavonia June Giovanni, both deceased. T-Boy had a massive stroke in 2009, then last year was found to have a very bad form of cancer which ultimately went to his brain and led to his death.

He and Joy spent hours praying for his healing over the past years. He was so thankful for his friend Edwin and the prayer team who came to visit him often and prayed for him. Just last spring while he was in Ochsner Hospital, he asked Joy to put her head on his shoulder so he could pray for her, so that if God chose Heaven instead of healing, He would give her the grace and strength to carry on a raise their young son, Giovanni!

A minute before he died, he opened his eyes, told Joy he loved her, puckered up for a kiss, asked where Giovanni and his best friend (who’s watched over him and his family this long time) were, then he pointed up, told her, “I love you, I’ll see you up there” and blew out a long breath and was gone! He is and always will be missed!

He was a husband, brother, poppa, brother-in-law, friend, and dad or pop. Once you were in, he loved you completely and would do anything in the world he could for you. He loved and was so proud of all his kids, step-kids, and grandchildren, all of you… and he missed you.  He thought of and thanked everyone who gave up their time on holidays to help him get home. We never gave you up, when you were married to our kids or not. No matter how far our kids and grandkids go, he always talked and asked for you when he remembered.

A memorial service will be held for William A. (T-Boy) Giovanni, Jr. on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Resurrection Life Church by Pastor Alan Hickman in Picayune, Miss. Refreshments will be served in the Café afterwards. This will be a celebration of his life.

Donations can be made in lieu of flowers at Capital One in Pearl River, La. to help his family with final arrangements.
