Laurie “Mack” Martin, age 78, of Homosassa, FL, passed away April 25, 2015 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, FL. Born on May 1, 1936 in Picayune, MS to John M. and Mary Pearl (Lossett) Martin.  Mack moved to Citrus County in 1975 from Virginia.  Mack was U.S. Army, retired, a heavy equipment operator and a member of the Baptist faith.

Survived by his wife, Margaret Gail Martin; five children, Roy Martin, Karl Martin, Glen Martin, Jay Gayheart and John Gayheart; two sisters, Jacquelyn Bounds and Iris Russell; three brothers, James Martin, John M. Martin and Leonard Martin; five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Private cremation will take place under the direction of Brown Funeral Home and Crematory in Lecanto, FL.
