Funeral services for Howard O. White, age 89 of  Carriere, MS, who passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015, will be held Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at New Henleyfield Southern Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at New Henleyfield Southern Baptist Church.

Burial will be in Henleyfield Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. Ray Allen will officiate the service.

A native of Carriere, MS, he was a carpenter and a member of New Henleyfield Southern Baptist Church. Howard was a U.S. Army and Air Force veteran of the Korean and World War II Wars.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar White and Clara Megehee; sister, Alyene Wheat; brothers, Bill White and Charles White.

Survivors include his loving wife of over 66 wonderful years, Era A. White; daughter, Sondra Kay Ard and husband Roy; granddaughter, Kristin Weyenberg and husband Matthew; grandson, Kevin Ard; and great grandson, Hunter Weyenberg.
