Funeral Services for Rosemary F. Lovell, age 87 of Picayune, MS, who passed away Monday, March 9, 2015, will be held Friday, March 13, 2015, at11:00 am at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be Friday, March 13, 2015 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at McDonald Funeral Home.
Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Dr. Keith Warden will officiate the service.
A native of Pascagoula, MS, she was a 27 year retiree as an Administrative Specialist with NDBC at Stennis Space Center. Rosemary was a member of First Baptist Church of Picayune, and a member of Truth Seekers SundaySchool Class. Since her retirement, she has done numerous genealogical works and has contributed to various libraries in this area and throughout the United States. Rosemary would like to be remembered in this role, as well as in the role of mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Andrew Faulk and Martha Jane Fletcher Faulk; her husband of 50 years, Ernest L. “Bud” Lovell, Sr.; and her brother, Lewis D. Faulk.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Michael F. Lovell and wife Donna, and Ernest Lovell, Jr. and wife Lynn; her 2 granddaughters, Martha Lovell and Elizabeth Lovell; and many nieces and nephews.
