Rose Alice Frierson, age 85, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Bro. Danny Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

Mrs. Frierson was a lifetime resident of Picayune, a line supervisor at Movie Star, and a member of Harmony Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, James Frierson of Picayune; one sister Etta Lou Walker of Picayune; four grandchildren, Kristy, Haven, Michael, and Ashley; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Lula Jerrell; husband, Adolph Frierson; one daughter, Mary Penton; two brothers, Merdock Jerrell, and Elmer Jerrell; one sister, Della Mae Kendrick; and one grandson, Robert Penton.
