Memorial Services for Mary Jane McKee, age 85, formerly of Picayune, MS, who passed away Friday, March 13, 2015, will be held Saturday, 11:30 a.m., March 28, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at the home of Christopher and Kelly Van Cleave. Call 228-806-5825 for address and directions.

A native of Picayune, MS, she was a retired Civil Service Worker Employee with the Department of the Navy in Washington, D.C. Mary Jane, a life long lover of music, played in the Picayune Memorial High School Marching Band and was a member of the choir at her church, St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Biloxi, MS.

She was a trumpet player, an active member of the DAR, a breast cancer survivor and lived life according to her favorite phrase, “Let The Good Times Roll.”

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh Kelsey McKee and Cammie Inez Ferrill McKee; her sisters and brothers, Catherine Lynd, James McKee, Sam McKee, William McKee, Margaret Stevens, Robert McKee, Edward McKee, and Frank McKee.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Kay Dobson Beard and husband Richard; 3 grandchildren, Robin Grant, Kelly Van-Cleave, and Cindy Watts; and 5 great grandchildren, Arden, Cresson, Everett, Gavin and Paige.
