Howard Francis Lucas, age 87, of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015.

Visitation will be held 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. Funeral Mass will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. with Father John Noone officiating. Burial will be at Biloxi National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

Mr. Lucas was retired Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife Mary Lucas of Carriere; sons, Michael Howard Lucas and his wife Rhonda of Lyles, Tennessee, Jason Christopher Lucas of Carriere, and Harry Sherman Lucas and his wife Tinka of Picayune; daughters, Julie Rose Lucas of Mobile, Alabama, and Amy Theresa Reyna and her husband Jaden of Dallas, Texas; sister, Vickie Lucille Essinger of Arlington, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father Ira Lucas; mother, Lucille Graham; brothers, William Graham, III, Warren Jarrel Lucas, David Graham, and Robert Edison Lucas; sisters, Mary Louise Graham, and Nancy Noon; and grandson, Wesley Gage Lucas.
