Kenneth A. Rogers, 60, of Carriere, MS, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015 surrounded by his family at Ochsner Medical Center in Metairie, Louisiana.

A memorial will be held at a later date.

Heritage Crematory is in charge of final arrangements.

A native of Los Angeles, CA and later of New Orleans, La., he made Carriere his home for over 24 years. He was a mechanic for 40 years and most recently the owner/proprietor of The Little Engine Shop in Nicholson, MS.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Al and Ima Lou Rogers of Carriere, MS.

Survivors include his brother Reverend Dr. Thomas J. (Christine) Rogers, and adult children Joseph (Crystal) Rogers of Lafayette, La, Kenneth (Amanda) Rogers and Daniel Rogers of Carriere, MS, Matthew Rogers of Madison, MS, and Helen (Nate) Duhé of Bay St. Louis, MS; three grandchildren, Hunter and Avery Rogers, and Emily Duhé.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
